Orbduino

Orbduino

Orbduino is very similar to the Live Robot Control that I added earlier.  The difference, is that Orbduino runs on a Arduino and is simplified, yet has more features.  It is 100% open source (Thanks Bill Joy!). It lags a bit and doesn’t have as precision control as LRC, but it’s great for playing around.  Some people have made some pretty cool creations and apparently if you hit the target with something, something special happens.  If you succeed, comment what happened because I don’t know.

Bubble Cam

Bubble Cam

There is nothing like spending time on Andie and Mike’s Bubble Cam.  This site lets you control a bubble machine in their backyard garden letting 30 seconds of awesome. The camera has a low frame rate, and it opens a new tab, but it’s still fun.  Some people even send bubbles for long distance relationships.  The site needs a 21st century makeover, but the functionality is there.  Go bubbles!

Live Robot Control

Live Robot Control

Live Robot Control is a site that let’s you control a robot live in France.  It is a pretty fun site, although there are some downsides to it.  As of this post, it only supports Flash, so it doesn’t work on a iPad.  It also only lets you play 5 times/hour, which makes learning it hard.
